Blessing of Pets

Pets are in the spotlight at this 15-minute outdoor service open to all. Children, families, and adults, bring your pets (on leashes or in carriers please!) for a celebration of creation and all that our animals mean to us.
Hosted by Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church (the church with the red doors at the corner of State and University, Champaign – we’ll meet right across the street in West Side Park.)
Individual pet blessings and prayers offered after the brief ceremony; stuffed animal friends and pet photos welcome too!
