AFL-CIO of Champaign County is once again sponsoring the annual Labor Day Parade and Celebration on Monday, September 5, 2022. The theme this year is “YES to Workers’ Rights”. Beginning at 10:00am, the Parade this year will take place in downtown Champaign. The parade will start at the corner of N Chestnut St and E Main St, and proceed through downtown to N Walnut St and E Washington St. Following the parade there will be free food, games for kids and entertainment at West Side Park. The picnic should run until 2:00pm.
