We get it. Moving to a new community can be a challenge. Finding new activities, ways to get engaged in the area, and connecting with people is difficult. The Chambana Welcome Crew—a program from Visit Champaign County and You’re Welcome CU—invites new residents to attend our inaugural New to CU Mixer.
Meet our ambassadors from the Chambana Welcome Crew, learn about the community from Visit Champaign County, and explore the forest preserves with the Champaign County Forest Preserve District. Most importantly, meet each other! This event gives you the perfect opportunity to meet other new residents and create connections.
If you moved here in 2020 or after, we invite you to join us at the Blind Pig Brewery beer garden. Food is on us!
