Join us for a special Illinois Homecoming community celebration in downtown Champaign! In collaboration with the Chancellors’ Committee to Support Homecoming, 40 North will host a special “Saturday Night Live” on October 15th from 3-8pm at Neil & Park and Market & Taylor in downtown Champaign.

Among the various activities planned, guests can expect:

• Performances by the Brat Pack, New Souls, Modern Drugs, Ryan Byfield & the Nuclei, Kayla Brown, and Dan Kusaya

• Ten local-artist decorated Block I’s at various downtown businesses

• Live painting by Cody “Zoot” Shinker (3-6pm | Market Street)

• Immersive Projection Art by Matt Harsh (6-8pm | Pour Brothers)

• Balloons by Aaron’s Party Balloons (3-6pm)

• Glitter & Henna Tattoos from Wild Style Design Company (4-6pm)

• Selfie wall & MORE!

As part of the celebration, we commissioned 10 local artists to transform large wooden Block I’s to be displayed in downtown Champaign businesses during the Homecoming celebration. Featured artists include: Will Arnold, Nathan Westerman, EKAH, Barry Callahan, Jose Vazquez, Madelyn Witruk, Matt Freden, Sophie McMahan, Crystal Hartman, and Sara Jahn! Join us on Saturday from 3-8pm and see them all for yourself at Jane Addams Book Shop, Wood N’ Hog Barbecue Downtown, Seven Saints, Neil St. Blues, Esquire Lounge Inc, Farren’s, Pour Bros. Craft Taproom Champaign, The Blind Pig Co., Hamilton Walker’s, and Circles Boutique!
