Each weekday at 9am, Emmanuel Memorial Episcopal Church on West Side Park gives out two dozen nutritionally balanced lunches, packed to be portable, to the homeless and working poor. Guests are served unconditionally, no questions asked. This regular, ordinary act of love provides about 6000 meals a year to the hungry and is funded completely by the generosity of parishioners and other community members. Your donation of $60 to Emmanuel pays for a day of lunches.
