1. The Literary & Hopscotch Bakery

Looking for a sweet treat or Instagram-able latte while writing that
paper or responding to emails? Hopscotch Bakery has got you
covered with cakes, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies, danishes,
and MORE! And, nothing pairs better with a good read than a glass of wine.

The Literary and Hopscotch Bakery are members of the CCP and located at 122 N Neil St. in downtown Champaign.

2. Champaign Public Library

A great versatile option located in the heart of Champaign with the option for common spaces or private study rooms. Pro-tip for college students: book a private study room before 2:40 pm to beat the middle school rush!

Champaign Public Library is a member of the CCP and is located at 200 W Green St. in downtown Champaign.

3. Kung Fu Tea

With arguably the best bubble tea in Champaign-Urbana, Kung Fu Tea has a perfect menu for a “study snacker”. Located in the middle of campustown, it is great for all college students or anyone else looking for some great boba and tasty meals!

Kung Fu Tea is a member of the CCP and is located at the 707 S 6th St, #106 in campustown.

4. Any of Champaign's Public Parks

More of an outdoorsy type? Champaign Park District has got you covered! With over 70 parks to choose from, there is sure to be a park near you. Although not in the city center, our favorites are Mattis Park and Morrissey Park!

Champaign Park District is a member of the CCP and their main office is located at 706 W Kenwood Ave.

5. Illini Union

The center of campustown, the iconic Illini Union, is open to all community members and has several nooks and crannies to study in. There’s even a Starbucks, Bowling Alley, and COVID-19 testing center. Watch out where you sit down –  there might be a student napping there!
