The city of Champaign is on fire with the number of events happening this month. Pour Brothers Patio Series

Let the month of July be the musical highlight of your year by checking out all of the fantastic bands slated to play at Pour Bros Patio Series. Another month, another chance to send our regards to the coolest street in Downtown Champaign. This month brings another round of local vendors, a killer line-up (Check out the lineup HERE), and countless chances to come together as a community to celebrate our Taylor Street.

Spindependence - the 20th Year - ft. Hit It Run ( July 2-4)

Get ready to rock out in the name of independence at Pour Bros’ Spindependence. Brought to you by some of the most well-known DJs in the area, this two-day celebration brings together a slew of old and new DJ’s, food trucks, vendors, visuals and so much more. If you don’t leave this fest with a new appreciation for the amazing talent we have in this city, you are doing something wrong.
Summer Films on the Quad (Every Thursday)
- Wind down after long day of scoring deals and completing challenges for 13 Thursdays by heading over to UIUC Main Quad and catching all this year’s hottest blockbusters FOR FREE. Put on by the Illini Union, this weekly outdoor (weather permitting) showing of the latest hit films will catch you up on all of the movie memes that may have gone over your head because of any of the reasons you chose not to sit in a movie theater over the past year.. (pandemic, inflation, gas prices…)

Friday Night Live ( Every Friday)

What better way to cap off a hard week at work then to chill downtown and listen to some fantastic live local music. Put on by our friends at 40 North, this weekly roundup of musicians scattered throughout Downtown Champaign gives another reason for your brain to be screaming TGIF as soon as your alarm goes off Friday morning.
Streetfest ( July 9)
Round 2 of Streetfest 2022 is upon us with the promise of a line up as rocking as it was in June. Featuring an eclectic array of bands this time around, this Champaign Park District hosted event promises you’ll be enjoying your local eats and drinks bopping to a different beat with each change of song.

La Armada w/ Edna, Death Call & Power of Dusk (July 15)

Make sure your head is prepared to bang when La Armada headlines the Brass Rail later this month. This punk rock group, formed in the Dominican Republic, along with a few of our local bands are ready to incite the crowd with their explosive energy and searing lyrics.
Elway W/ The Holy Mess, Yap Trap and The Auctions (July 17)
Weird Meat Boyz are bringing their vibe to The Brass Rail when they present Elway, The Holy Mess, Yap Trap and The Auctions on the scene. Enjoy drinks at your favorite local dive bar to a rousing live punk soundtrack that is guaranteed to get you out of your seat and ready to take on the world.

Campustown Pub Tour (July 21)

Take a trip to campustown and share a drink with us on July 21 as we take a tour of some of the wonderful pubs that are located on that side of town. Featured bars are Murphy’s pub, Illini Inn and Legends. Tickets are available for purchase on our website or by following this link. Cheers!
Pups and Pints - Crisis Nursery ( July 31)
Pour Bros is at it again with their monthly Pups and Pints series. A percentage of this month’s Yappy Hour (sorry had to be done) proceeds as well as a generous donation from Tito’s Vodka will be donated to the Crisis Nursery. So go fetch your pooch and come grab a drink on the Pour Bros patio for a relaxing Sunday with your barkiest bestie.
